Inquisitiveness - Weather

We studied this in the spring and I bought "The Kids' Book of WEather Forecasting" with Meterologist Mark Breen and Kathleen Friestad. AWESOME book. That one and the one Jessica recommended "Ranger Rick Weatherscope Wild About Weather." It was difficult to find and cost a little more than I wanted to pay. I have a box of other weather book and a couple of DVDs, but those two books were the best. You can do an awesome unit with just these two books!
We studied this when my children were pre-school - 2nd grade level. I posted our favorite books for this unit at http://www.squidoo.com/sun-seasons-and-weather-lesson-plan .
Learning Playground - Learning about weather (World Book Inc.). Great overview book with good descriptions. My kids are 8 and 6 but this book had enough detail for kids slightly older as well.
